Live production services, from camera plan to final output

entertoly

Six services for event organisers, venues and broadcasters, run by one control room team from Durham. Here is what each covers and what shapes a proposal.

What we run

Six services, one gallery team

Each service can be booked alone or combined into a single production. Most jobs use two or three together, and the same crew carries the show from rehearsal to the last frame.

  1. Multi-camera switching

A vision mixer operator and a technical director cut your show live across several camera feeds. They follow the running order and the music, call shots with the camera operators and keep the programme output clean. Suited to concerts, panels and stage events.

  2. Live streaming production

We encode your programme, monitor the stream and deliver it to your chosen streaming platform from a dedicated control room team. A streaming engineer watches the chain throughout. You receive a clear picture of what the audience is seeing.

  3. Control room setup

We plan, build and test a temporary or fixed production gallery for your venue or festival. That covers racks, cabling, monitoring and intercom. Everything is checked against your camera plan before the first rehearsal.

  4. Concert and festival broadcast

Full coverage of stage performances, from the camera plan through to the programme output. We agree positions and shot lists with your stage manager and artists' teams. The gallery then cuts the performance as it happens.

  5. Replay and graphics operation

Live replays, lower thirds and on-screen graphics are operated in step with the show. Names, captions and sponsor slates are loaded and checked beforehand. The operator fires them on the director's call.

  6. Remote production support

Remote contributors and off-site feeds are brought into one managed production. We test each link before the show and keep a fallback ready. Guests appear in the programme alongside the live cameras on site.

Choosing the right approach

Cutting only, or a full broadcast

If your venue already has cameras and a screen feed, switching alone may be enough. If you need pictures delivered to viewers, the streaming and gallery services come in as well. We help you decide from the brief you send.

  • Switching on existing cameras
  • Streaming added when needed
  • Graphics and replay as options
  • One crew across all of it
Cutting only, or a full broadcast

Temporary gallery or fixed room

A festival field needs a gallery that goes up and comes down within days. A venue that streams often may prefer a permanent room built once. The choice affects equipment, cabling and the time needed on site.

  • Temporary builds for festivals
  • Fixed rooms for regular venues
  • Tested before rehearsal
  • Planned around your site

What shapes a proposal

Our written quotation depends on the number of cameras, the length of the show, the crew needed and the days on site. Remote feeds, graphics and travel from Durham also change the total. Prices are set out on the Prices page.

  • Camera count and show length
  • Crew size and days on site
  • Remote feeds and graphics
  • Travel and set-up time
What shapes a proposal
In detail

Multi-camera switching on a live stage show

This service suits organisers whose show has several cameras and one chance to get it right. A technical director plans the signal paths, and a vision mixer operator cuts the programme live from the gallery to the running order.

Multi-camera switching on a live stage show
Camera plan and shot list
Before the day, we agree camera positions, lens choices and the shots each operator is expected to cover. You tell us the key moments of the show, and we build the plan around them.
Signal paths and checks
The technical director maps every feed from camera to mixer to output and tests each one on site. Intercom, monitoring and tallies are confirmed before rehearsal begins.
Rehearsal and cueing
We cut through rehearsal with your running order so shots, graphics and cues are settled. Changes from the stage are easier to absorb when the crew has already seen the show once.
Live cutting and output
During the show, the operator cuts in time with the music and the director's calls. The clean programme goes to your screens, recording or streaming chain as agreed.

Send your running order, venue plan and any camera positions you already have. A short list of must-have shots helps us plan faster.
